The Business and Community Directory is provided free of charge to all businesses and residents within the City of Karratha.

With an increase in local economic activity it is an opportunity to support local when looking for new providers of products and services for your business as well as showcase your business to potential customers.

Run by business people for local businesses, the KDCCI represents a collective of more than 400 small and medium businesses and community organisations.

We are passionate about providing a strong, active and independent voice for our members, delivering a diverse range of services and fostering networks to help businesses like yours have the best chance to thrive.

The KDCCI have built the reputation as a leading chamber of commerce in Western Australia. With the change in the business climate we are focussing on engaging the major and mid-tier companies to ensure local businesses are supported. By engaging all business levels and promoting local procurement we want to create real tangible value for our members and create the best possible environment for local businesses to prosper.

Based on member feedback, the KDCCI facilitate the following helpful business services:

  • Business After Hours and social events that attract an impressive crowd of regular and new faces
  • E-news updates with the latest commercial insights and resources
  • Training and workshops enabling you to be most competitive
  • A shared co-working space with high speed internet access and printing facilities
  • The ongoing New Pilbara Expo event in Perth to highlight the diversification of the Pilbara economy
  • Business Excellent Awards to celebrate our highest achievers

The KDCCI is implementing a roundtable initiative to directly engage the government at all levels as well as major companies to ensure locals businesses have a direct voice in the business community. By giving a direct voice we can help local businesses and major customers bridge the gap to ensure the City of Karratha is a first contact for all major support and services.

With a new CEO, Kylah Morrison, the board and CEO are working on taking the KDCCI on a new journey after the terrific work done by the outgoing CEO John Lally. We look forward to the new and exciting prospects to come.

Finally, we pride ourselves on the authentic connections fostered among our members. We use our extensive network of contacts to champion and promote local businesses in all levels of the Pilbara economy.
