The KDCCI aims to provide an array of exciting events and forums to promote economic development in the region, as well as provide ongoing training and valuable networking opportunities.

Business After Hours

Business After Hours events are held on the second Wednesday of each month and provide an opportunity for KDCCI members to showcase their business, provide a project update or launch a new product or service. These exclusive member events provide valuable networking opportunities and support the growth and development of the local business community. Potential KDCCI members are welcome to attend by invitation of an existing member.

Local Supplier Forums

The KDCCI promotes a ‘buy local’ attitude and the significant resources growth in the Pilbara presents many business opportunities for local contractors. The KDCCI aims to provide forums for mining and construction organisations to present these opportunities to members, discussing upcoming projects and expansions as well as the tender process.

Pilbara Pulse Economic Summit

The inaugural Pilbara Pulse Economic Summit was held in May this year, attracting over 250 business, government and community leaders over the two day event. With a number of economic and social projects now under way in the Pilbara, it is important for local businesses to understand how they can take advantage of the opportunities that will present themselves in the coming years. The KDCCI aims to run this event annually to improve communication between the business community and key decision makers.
