Business Excellence Awards 2010

The annual Business Excellence Awards programme, hosted by the KDCCI, was a huge success with thanks to the involvement of the business community in Karratha and surrounding districts.

The red dirt was swapped for red carpet for this gala event as a record 320 guests joined in celebrating the extraordinary achievements of local businesses and community organisations.

The KDCCI would like to extend a big thank you to the many local businesses that supported the event by donating goods or services. A special mention must also be made to the 2010 judging panel, who volunteered their time to review and mark the submissions, as well as provide valuable feedback for all entrants.

A huge thank you to all of the sponsors that came on board this year, without your support this awards programme would not be possible. Your contribution is invaluable and we look forward to working with you again next year as the programme continues to grow.

Following this awards ceremony six Karratha businesses were announced as finalists at the WA Regional Small Business Awards, and took out four of the eight categories including Regional Small Business of the Year. Congratulations to McLaren Hire, Portaccomm SX5 Building Systems and Harvey World Travel.
